It was and is his talent, character and great class on and off the court that make him so beloved by so many.Few have had as much fame as he during their active sports career. One thinks of the Bambino, Ruth and Gretzky and Ali and more recently Tiger.
He fascinated fans and rivals with his moves and dunks. He drew admiration and awe as he played and as he moved about town, bigger than life.
A star among stars, he still remained down to earth even though he clearly enjoyed the good things in life that come with fortune. He did earn big cash with the Bulls but there was much more as well from his work for Wheaties, Nike and Mcdonald's.

Jordan stuck countless key points that made the difference in great games. He thrived on pressure. One of these pressure plays was his hanging, double-clutch jumper for the Bulls over the Cavaliers' Craig Ehlo at the buzzer in the deciding playoff game in 1989. More impressive yet, a bed-ridden Jordan comes to play in the 97 final and manages 38 points and the final winning 3 pointer. Always the man for the moment, in his last hoora, the 1998 finals with seconds to go he gets two, steals the ball and jumps for three winning the game. Oh so many memories of clutch plays live on because of Jordan. He truly earned and deserves his superstar status! The Bulls franchise in the '90's was Michael Jorden.
10 scoring titles in eleven seasons, the stuff of a true legend. He shares a remarkable record with Wilt Chamberland, 3 ,000 point seasons. Michael did it in 1986-87. He scored an average 31 points game after game over his entire eleven year career, a phenomenal record.
